Help us Help 100 Families Rebuild

We are raising $15,000 by 20 December to support 100 families in Hue which were severely affected by the recent record-breaking floods. The disaster caused the highest rainfall ever recorded in 24 hours, resulting in 37 deaths and widespread damage to homes, farmland, and livestock. We will begin implementing the recovery programme in December. Hue Help keeps reserves for emergencies like this, so to kickstart the campaign we'll match every donation -- dollar for dollar -- up to $2,000. 

Although the water has receded, many households have been left with no means to recover on their own. They urgently need support to restart their livelihoods — especially through livestock, seeds, tools, and basic essentials. Hue Help has been working in Hue city since 2006 with a strong local team and trusted partnerships, ensuring that 100% of donations reach families directly. During the 2020 floods, we successfully raised $15,000 and supported dozens of vulnerable households with essential items, livestock, tools, and small grants.

This new campaign will help families rebuild their lives quickly, sustainably, and transparently.
