This year I'm taking on the challenge of a lifetime, starting on 21st June 2025. On the anniversary of the death of my son Danny, I'll be climbing into the saddle for a gruelling trek across Europe from Leeds to Istanbul.

I'm aiming to raise funds to help BHF research into improving outcomes for heart transplant recipients. Danny's heart was donated after his death and continues to beat to this day, somewhere, helping a young man now aged 15 to live a fuller life. Every penny raised for this excellent cause, goes to create similar happy endings for people suffering from heart disease.
