The annual Christmas Hero appeal raises money to bring hundreds of local children and their families to experience the joy of theatre over the festive season.

Pantomime is often a child’s first experience of theatre but for many children and their families in Kirklees, a festive trip to the theatre just isn’t possible. With your support, the Christmas Hero appeal enables those in our community, who need it the most, to experience the absolute joy that pantomime brings.

For every £19 donated, Lawrence Batley Theatre can bring one child to experience the magic of the theatre. They will receive a VIP ticket to see the festive family pantomime, Dick Whittington, a show programme and a free ice cream.
