Scot Baby Box Appeal started in February 2022 calling for mums to donate their pre-loved Baby Box - provided by the Scottish Government to all newborns in Scotland - to be sent to Ukraine for new mums who were having to give birth in subways or basements of maternity hospitals due to the war breaking out - these boxes can be used as cribs and could be sent to Ukraine full of other essential aid items for newborns.

Since February 2022, Scot Baby Box Appeal has sent an unbelievable 4,500+ Baby Boxes to Ukraine along with several van, bus and truckloads of other essential items to support families caught up in the escalating crisis, all thanks to the generosity of thousands of people all over Scotland and across the UK.

It's estimated there are still around 500 babies being born in Ukraine every day, so there's still a huge need for the baby boxes and other essential aid for families facing crisis.
