For our Q1 charity partner, The Recruitment Crowd is proud to support BSARCS (Barnsley Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Services) — a vital local charity offering specialist support to individuals affected by sexual violence, rape, and abuse in the Barnsley area.

BSARCS provides free, confidential, trauma‑informed services for people of all genders and ages whose lives have been impacted by sexual abuse or violence. Their support includes specialist counselling, wellbeing services, advocacy, and tailored emotional support — all focused on the needs of the individual, without pressure to report to the police unless the survivor chooses to do so.

The charity also works to raise awareness and educate the public and professionals on issues related to sexual violence, helping to break down stigma and promote safer, more supportive communities.

We chose BSARCS because the work they do is truly life‑changing, often unseen, and speaks to the heart of community support and wellbeing. Their dedication to listening, believing, and supporting survivors aligns with our values of dignity, empathy, and positive impact — making them a charity we are honoured to stand with throughout Q1.
