We are raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust in the name of Lulu Blundell who studied Art A Level at TRC. Lulu was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in 2019 and treated on the Teenage Cancer Trust unit at Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield, in April 2022 Lulu found out, aged 19, that her cancer had returned after treatment. She sadly died on New Year’s Day 2023.
Lulu was an incredible person who left an indelible impression on all she met, each year we give an award for painting in her name, and this year we will be wearing band t shirts across the whole VAPAM (Visual and Performing Arts and Media) Faculty, as we put up our exhibition from May 14th - 16th.
