26 miles for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

South Downs Way · 3 May 2025 ·
On 3rd May 2025, 37 of us from all over the country are taking on the challenge of walking 26 miles along the South Downs to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity!
This is going to be an extremely tough and hilly route, but we're all motivated by the beautiful Amelie, aged just 8 years old, who is currently being looked after by the fantastic staff at the hospital and undergoing treatment for a rare brain tumour. We will be thinking of Amelie every step we take and her incredible bravery will keep us going!
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure their nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Every penny will help, we hope to reach our target and beyond!
Thank you so much for your support.
