Story
11 members of our amazing FleetCheck team have signed up to walk 13 miles in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. Several of us at FleetCheck have family members who are currently suffering or have suffered with this devastating illness.
Alzheimer’s disease is a physical illness which damages a person’s brain. This eventually causes dementia. It affects everyone differently but some common early symptoms include memory problems, thinking and reasoning difficulties, language problems and changes in mood.
The Alzheimer’s Society is working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future which is why the FleetCheck team have chosen to support this charity.
The FleetCheck Team are: Peter, Ben & Edd Golding, Callum Haymon-Collins, Sue O'Connell, Clare Wallace, Andy Kirby, Simon Kelly, Vickie Holloway, Freya Benbow (& Steve), Neil David and Euan Littlejohns (& Ellie).
