Foyle Hospice provides palliative care services for patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses while supporting their families and loved ones across the Western Health and Social Trust area in Northern Ireland. We improve the quality of life of patients and support their families.

Story

I’ll be running the London Marathon 2024 next April. I’m doing this to raise money for this great charity so close to our hearts.

What do the foyle hospice do?

Palliative and end of life care is provided to people with life-limiting illnesses which can include heart and lung disease, dementia, advanced cancer and other progressive neurological illness, alongside proving support for their family and carers.Money raised will be used to help provide the comprehensive range of specialist services and support offered by the hospice: 

In-Patient Unit• 7 Days-a-Week Home Care Service• 24/7 Telephone Advice Line• Children and Young People’s Counselling• Bereavement Support for Adults• Carer Support and Wellbeing• Integrative Care Clinic• Day Hospice Unit
