Northants 4 x 4 Response are a volunteer led charity where in adverse weather such as bad snow or flooding, we use our own vehicles to transport doctors, nurses and health care workers around the country so they can carry on caring for people in the community. During covid we distributed over 3000 food parcels. During bad flooding, like Billing we help to evacuate residents from their homes and transport them to safety. We also offer our support to help Marshall and assist with car parking at events such as Race for Life and work closely with Cransley hospice, such as assisting with the Tree of light on Sunday and help collect Christmas trees in January. All our equipment is self funded. At the moment we are raising money for a defibrillator to be fitted in our response trailer.
