Myself and Dennis Kelly are raising money for St Luke’s Hospice in memory of our great pal John Baldwin (or JB as we knew him). Sadly JB passed away last September 2023 following a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer only 3 months earlier. The St Luke’s team talked to JB whilst in hospital and then took care of him at the Hospice in Plymouth for the last 24 hours of his life. They were also very supportive of his close family during this heartbreaking time. The work they do is fantastic and I’m sure there will be those of you out there who have personal memories or experience of the care they provide for those at the end of their lives. Who knows when one of us, or close relatives may need their help when our turn arrives to make our final journey. Please help Dennis and I to raise as much as possible for this fantastic cause.
