Operation Ocelot is going on tour to Ecuador this year, and we need you! Join Mission Four by measuring your school or any space to raise money and help protect threatened habitats and species in the Tropical Andes!

Story

This year, I'm joining Operation Ocelot to help save Ecuador's Llanganates-Sangay Corridor!

Did you know that the Tropical Andes is one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth – yet it’s under threat from deforestation and hunting?

Within this global hotspot, the Llanganates-Sangay Corridor in eastern Ecuador is home to species found nowhere else, including the Critically Endangered Punzan Rainfrog.

That’s why Operation Ocelot Mission Four is stepping in to help protect this extraordinary landscape, by helping to fund the expansion of EcoMinga’s Olivier Currat Reserve by 485 hectares. This will safeguard montane forests, páramo grasslands and waterfalls.

So what are you waiting for? Join us and Steve Backshall for Operation Ocelot and, together, we will save this vital habitat!

This is how we're doing it:

*We started by measuring an area

*Then created a fundraising target using WLT's calculator

*And now, we're raising money to meet that target and save the same size area in Ecuador
