A tribute to a sadly missed friend.

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page supporting the MND Association. My friend Mark Newby passed away on the 6th of September 2017, at the age of 51, after a long, brave & ultimately futile fight against Motor Neurone Disease. There is currently no cure for this terrible disease. 7 years to the day I will be travelling down to Land's End to commence, at the age of 70, a 1,010 cycle ride over 19 days, from the Southern tip of the UK to its Northern tip at John O'Groats, as a tribute to Mark and to raise money for the MND Association.

The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
