💬 My Story
This year, I’m taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life: completing my first full-distance Ironman—2.4 miles of swimming, 112 miles on the bike, and a full marathon to finish it off.
But this race isn’t just for me. I’m racing in honor of my cousin, Jonah, who we lost far too soon to cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer of the bile ducts.
Jonah was the person who first introduced me to triathlon. His encouragement and energy are the reason I ever stepped up to a start line. So it’s only fitting that I dedicate this milestone to him—and use it as a way to make a difference.
🎗️ Why This Cause Matters
Cholangiocarcinoma is rare, deadly, and underfunded. Most people have never even heard of it until it touches someone they love. Research is advancing, but there’s still so much more work to do—early detection, treatment options, and ultimately, a cure.
I’m raising money for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, an organization that funds life-saving research, supports patients and families, and raises awareness of this disease.
100% of donations through this page will go directly to the foundation’s work.
🏁 Race Day: Ironman Chattanooga September 28, 2025
As I train for hours each week—through early mornings, long rides, brutal brick sessions—I’ll be carrying Jonah’s memory with me. And when I hit that finish line, it’ll be for him.
Every mile is for Jonah.
Every donation helps change someone’s future.
