Story
A group of Triathletes from Triangle Triathlon Club are setting aside their wetsuits and running shoes and buckling themselves into the pedals for a monster Ride Around Northern Ireland (RANI).
The RANI will start in Limavady on Saturday 4th May and ride 170 miles to Armagh, continuing on Sunday, through Newry and Donaghadee, resting in Carrickfergus before the final stint on Monday around the north coast and finally back to Limavady.
The group will be cycling a staggering 437 miles across these 3 days to help raise vital funds and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Every 1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime and Macmillan are there to help in every way that they can – big or small. We will all be affected by cancer in some way if we haven’t been already.
In 2022, Macmillan were able to offer services to around 2 million people living with cancers including emotional, practical, physical and financial support.
Through people’s support and fundraising, Macmillan raised an astounding £221.2 million in 2022 and this group of triathletes want to help contribute so that in 2024 this number can be even greater.
We would appreciate your support in any way that you can. Any donations are greatly appreciated by the triathletes and Macmillan themselves.
