Our Labradors, Oscar and George both got Alabama Rot (CRGV). This is a rare, little known disease that is becoming more common and is often fatal. It has an extremely low survival rate, 1 in 10 is a regularly stated statistic. It can be caught by any dog and is thought to be around in wet and muddy conditions.

Thankfully, through the help of some amazing vets and specialists, George survived.

Sadly (devastatingly for us) our boy Oscar didn't pull through and passed away. He went from a loving, happy, playful dog to complete kidney failure in just a few days. He was a wonderful dog.

Dogs and their owners, like us, go through hell when a dog catches this disease. If you are a dog owner, or just love dogs please donate to this cause.
