Lots of you know that I’m a bit obsessed with swimming in lakes, but this takes it to another level. We're going to be swimming for a whole 24 hours. Yup, bonkers I know……we are in teams but I’ll still be swimming for an hour three times over the 24 hours.

We're doing it to raise money for Level Water who provide 1-to-1 swimming lessons for disabled children.

This is something I’m passionate about as my kids came to me at 10 and 8 years old and not able to swim because people had felt that, as disabled children, it was too risky to teach them. We felt that it was pretty risky that they couldn’t swim, so they both learned the first year of living with us. We were lucky, we could get to the sea and they both learned on their first summer holidays with us, but this is not an option for all families.
