This year, the Triex team is taking on the Belfast Marathon to raise vital funds for a cause that means so much to us: Sarah’s Star.

Sarah’s Star provides compassionate support for individuals living with incurable and palliative illnesses, as well as their families and the dedicated NHS professionals who care for them in the North East.

Their holistic approach includes meditation, massage, reiki, art, music, beauty therapy, counselling, and yoga, alongside death cafés and open conversations to help normalise discussions around palliative and end-of-life care. They also collaborate with local hospitals, schools, and universities to break the stigma and fear surrounding these topics.

Founded by Sarah Harrison, a loving mum of two who was diagnosed with incurable breast cancer in 2019, Sarah’s Star is built on her vision:

"I am hoping to make life a little easier for people who have been given an incurable or palliative diagnosis."

Every donation, no matter the size, will help Sarah’s Star continue their incredible work and bring comfort, dignity, and peace to those facing life’s most challenging moments.
