Trimley Trekkers 24 Hour Walk - Saturday 31st October – Sunday 1st November 2026

The Trimley Trekkers were formed in 2021, and since then we have taken on some incredible challenges together, including Hadrian’s Wall, the West Highland Way, Peddars Way and the Cleveland Way.

Along the way, with the fantastic support of our friends, families and local community, we have proudly raised over £20,000.

Now it’s time for our next challenge – a 24 Hour Walk!

Starting on Saturday 31st October and finishing on Sunday 1st November, we will be walking for 24 hours, tackling various routes around the Felixstowe area and completing as many miles as we possibly can.

Walking in memory of Colin and Mick- this challenge has a very special meaning for all of us.

Last year, we sadly lost two much-loved members of the Trimley Trekkers family to cancer, Colin Tallis and Mick Banham.

During their illnesses, Somersham Ward Cancer Unit Support Group provided invaluable support to Colin and Mick and their families.

We want to use this challenge to remember two great friends while giving something back to the people who were there for them when they needed it most.

Every penny we raise will help the Support Group continue its wonderful work, supporting other cancer patients and their families during incredibly difficult times.
