In April 2026, I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon with Dementia UK for my grandma, Joan, who received care for over six years whilst suffering with dementia and sadly passed in May 2025. Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurse service. My grans carers gave support and guidance to my family, especially my dad and my uncle, and ensured my gran received the best possible care. They helped us all through a very difficult time. I'm running to raise funds so Dementia UK can continue providing this essential service to other families facing similar challenges. Any donation, big or small, will help make a difference.
