Lagan Walk · 19 September 2024

We are a small family run charity, that each year visits some of the most remote impoverished parts of Tanzania with a mission to provide running water. With running water over the years we have built medical centres, health clinics, schools and workshops.

Story

On 19th September, the Trintech Belfast team will be walking the from Cutter's Wharf to Lagan Valley island to raise money for clean water and amenities in Tanzania. We will also be picking up any rubbish found along the way.

Kilimanjaro Water Project is a family run charity, that each year visits some of the most remote, impoverished parts of Tanzania in East Africa with a mission to provide running water.

Access to this most basic need is the first step out of poverty. On our missions, the team have drilled various wells to retrieve clean, accessible water.

Drinking water is vital for everyday life. Providing this basic need creates a foundation onto which communities can build, by setting up medical centers, schools and workshops.

Every bit donated helps us to fulfill our mission.
