NHG LONDON MARATHON 2025!

Tristan Botts is raising money for Notting Hill Genesis Community Foundation

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) works in the community, providing homes for lower-income households. Money raised through fundraising contributes to our hardship fund, helping residents in times of hardship and crisis.

Story

I will be taking part in my first marathon at the 2025 TCS London Marathon in support of the Notting Hill Genisis (NHG) Hardship Fund.

This is a great initiative which provides a helping hand, often serving as an essential life line, to residents who may be going through a difficult time. This is increasingly important given the general cost of living crisis, which is compounded in London with the high accomodation costs, leaving little room for unforeseen expenses in times of crisis.

Please help me to champion this cause by providing anything you can, it all counts and will go a long way to positively impacting other peoples lives.

Your help is appreciated!

Below is a little more detail on the NHG Hardship Fund.

We at NHG are raising money for our hardship fund which was put in place to help residents in crisis. The fund helps alleviate hardship and short-term crises, which can be anything from a fridge breaking down to being unable to afford groceries for a family or even energy to heat their home. The hardship fund also helps housing officers pay for community events, wellbeing sessions or tenancy sustainment projects that benefit our residents. The fund has played a vital role in supporting residents affected by the pandemic. In the past two years, we have awarded £280,000 to help fund household items, school uniforms and supermarket vouchers to those in need.
