Story
In April, I’ll be taking on the Legendary Marathon des Sables, a gruelling 250km (155 miles) race across the Moroccan Sahara Desert. Known as the toughest footrace on earth, it’s been a lifelong dream of mine to compete in this extraordinary challenge.
I’m running to raise awareness and funds for @Access_Adventures, an organisation that provides adaptive adventure sports for people with disabilities.
For me, running and adventure sports have always been therapeutic. The idea of losing mobility or facing physical challenges has made me deeply empathetic to those who must navigate these realities. Access Adventures ensures that people with disabilities can experience the empowering, confidence-boosting benefits of adventure sports in a supportive and inclusive environment.
During my visit to their HQ in Staines, I was inspired by the work they do and by Tim Farr, one of the founders, who suffered a life-changing skiing injury at university. His determination to help others break barriers and embrace new opportunities moved me deeply.
Please consider supporting this cause.
💯% of your donations will go directly to Access Adventures, helping them continue their incredible work (none of the funds will go toward my entry or logistics).
Thank you for helping me make a difference as I prepare for the toughest challenge of my life!
