Story
We are 'Up Crick Creek without a Paddle'! And we are competing in the Dragon Boat Festival at Billing Aquadrome this year, all to raise vital funds for Ailsa's Aim.
Originally meant to be last September the race got postponed because of the floods. Now we are back in full force, ready to take on this fantastic challenge.
Working up and down the country, Ailsa's aim supports those who suffer (and their families) from cancer or gestational diabetes or have experienced premature and problematic childbirth.
Having never competed in a Dragon Boat Race before - the team at TruckEast Crick are uniting to navigate the waters on 31st May, 2025 in this worthwhile fundraiser.
Our plan is simple - to dig deep and give it all we've got on the 200m course, whilst hopefully smashing our fundraising target. So anything you can donate will be gratefully received.
Now for the team breakdown... who are we?
Jack Addis - Service Advisor (and our Drummer)
Tanitia Dawes - Parts Advisor
Lauren Carter - Depot Administrator
Dan Carter - HGV Technician
Lee Knights - Workshop Manager
Jordan Hale - Parts Advisor (and Team Captain)
Alex Unsworth - HGV Technician
Kieran Unwin - HGV Technician
Jamie Clarke - HGV Technician
Jason Woodley - Area Sales Manager
Your support, no matter how big or small will help us make waves. By donating to our fundraising efforts, you are not only helping us to reach our goal, but also making a meaningful difference to the lives of those in need.
So join us, as we paddle for purpose
Thanks from all the team.
