This year I’m privileged to have been given a place to run the Great North Run for the Fire Fighters Charity 🚒❤️

Turns out voluntarily running 13.1 miles is a lot like firefighting: heart pumping like it’s an emergency, lots of sweat, and hoping there’s plenty of water!

But seriously — Firefighters are there for people on some of the worst days of their lives — but when firefighters themselves need help, this charity is there for them and their families. With 3 serving firefighters in my family; my brother, son and nephew, it’s a charity close to my heart.
