As some of you might know we have been on a journey when Emily was diagnosed with a brain tumour in February 2025. We were told they needed to remove the tumour before it caused her to have life limiting consequences. In April at Sheffield Children’s Hospital she underwent a 9 hour operation & then was transferred to the High Dependency Unit. The Sick Children’s Trust provided a ‘ Home from Home’ for me at Treetops in the hospital. I was able to have a bed to sleep in, wash my clothes, cook a meal & most importantly stay close to Emily. They don’t ask families for any money, I was so grateful to have somewhere to stay so close it was one less worry. This challenge for me is huge but I want to be able to support this amazing charity.
