Story
This year True Group opened a new office in Budapest. Our UK home is in Guildford, so when we started thinking about how to do something meaningful for charity, the answer felt obvious. We ride there.
On the 21st of May 2026, a team of us will cycle the equivalent of Guildford to Budapest, 1,500 kilometres, in 24 hours, on static bikes, as a team, without stopping. It's ambitious. It's going to hurt. And it's absolutely worth it.
Why CALM
Because most of us know what it feels like when life gets on top of you. The pressure that quietly builds. The moment you realise someone close to you isn't okay. The times you haven't been okay yourself.
Mental health touches all of us, and yet it can still feel impossibly hard to talk about or reach out for help.
CALM exists to change that. They run a free, confidential helpline and webchat every single day, for anyone who needs it. No judgement. No waiting list. Just someone there, when it matters most.
Why we're doing this
We're not elite athletes. We're a group of colleagues who wanted to do something that meant something, something that reflected who we are as a company and what we believe in.
Some of us will ride through the night. Some will jump on for half an hour. All of it gets us closer to Budapest, and all of it raises money for people who need CALM's support.
Every pound you donate helps make sure that line stays open, and that nobody has to face their worst moments alone.
Thank you for being part of the ride. 💙
