“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”

The North Devon Foodbank doesn't think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. They work with local support agencies to ensure food parcels reach those most in need.

The North Devon Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

If you would like to donate items, please bring items to Barnstaple. The most urgently needed items are:

- Tinned vegetables

- Ham, Spam, Corned Beef, etc.

- Long life Fruit Juice

- Tinned fruit

- Tinned or Instant Custard

- Sponge Puddings

- Dried Milk

- Instant Coffee

- Cooking Sauces
