There's something for everyone in The Big Golf Race. Choose from the Half Marathon (2 rounds, 36 holes, 13 miles in a day), the Marathon (4 rounds, 72 holes, 26 miles in a day) or even the Ultra Marathon (5.5 rounds, 100 holes, 35 miles in a day).

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, any support you can give is greatly appreciated.

On 1st August a group of us across TalkTalk will be taking part in a Golf Marathon at Chester Golf Club, playing 4 rounds of golf (72 holes) in a day! The team consists of Mark Sellers, Scott Williamson, Andy Stokes, Carl Blanchon, Dean Cross, Tim Goodwin & myself.

We tee off ~5:30am just as sun comes up & we expect it’ll take us ~16 hours, a significant challenge as it’s >24 miles of walking along with ~400 golf shots each!

Currently 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in the UK so we're taking on this challenge to help fund research to find better tests that could save thousands of lives.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
