In May I'm taking on the challenge to cycle from London to Paris to raise money for the charity Macmillan - a charity close to my family's heart.

Back in 2020 my grandad was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma when the doctors found a tumour the size of an apple next to his heart. After months of chemo, this affected bones which then resulted in his back collapsing.

Watching him in agony, we all felt so helpless - this is not something anyone should ever have to go through.

It's been a long journey to recovery for him - and still going - but he couldn't have done it without Macmillan. I wanted to give back to this amazing charity who saved his life, and all they do for people like my grandad.
