Story
On April 26th, I will be lacing up for my 9th marathon — and my 2nd London Marathon — running in support of Sense International. I'd love for you to join me in making a difference by donating to this truly vital cause.
Sense International is the world's only international NGO dedicated solely to supporting individuals living with deafblindness, and their families, across the globe. Deafblindness is one of the most isolating conditions imaginable — yet with the right support, people living with it can thrive.
Sense International works across eight countries — Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Peru and Romania — to ensure that people with deafblindness can access the education, healthcare and economic opportunities they need to live full, independent lives. Central to their mission is early identification: by reaching children as young as possible, they can provide the timely intervention that changes the entire trajectory of a life. From inclusive education to vocational training, they equip children and young people with the tools to build livelihoods and realise their potential.
Every mile I run on April 26th is a step toward a world where no one — regardless of their abilities — is left behind. Please consider donating and helping make that world a reality.
