Story
Our charity of the year for this year is Freddie Farmers Foundation. A local charity in Bromley who run a specialist subsidised physiotherapy centre for children and young people with cerebral palsy and mobility problems.
The inspiration behind it all is Freddie Farmer who was born at 28 weeks with cerebral palsy. Freddie’s family had been taking him three times a year to a centre 100 miles away for unique and intensive physiotherapy involving a piece of equipment called the ‘spider’.
It helped Freddie make great progress and it soon became clear that a centre nearer home – where he could get more regular treatment - was much needed.
The centre was opened in May 2015 and has been a great support for disabled children with varying conditions and mobility problems.
To raise money for them we are putting on a number of events the first being our Easter Egg raffle.
Tickets are priced at £5 a strip with donations being made on this page and tickets collected from your respective offices.
Please see Saira or Rebecca in Bromley, Leah in West Wickham and Andrea and Megan in Sevenoaks to notify them of how many tickets you would like to purchase.
