Story
I’d greatly appreciate your support for two major journeys I’m embarking on.
The first is the London Marathon, which I’ll be running in April. While I’ve completed a few half-marathons, this will be my first full one. Adding to the challenge, I broke my ankle in late 2022 and required surgery, so this will be a significant test for my legs—I just hope the metal plates and pins are screwed in properly!

I’ll be running to raise money for the charity Rebooted, which brings me to my second major journey.
I recently founded Rebooted to support children and families of prisoners.
In the UK, there are around 190,000 children with a parent in prison, and they often face immense challenges as a result of their parents’ incarceration. Many struggle in school, some are excluded, and tragically, some follow their parents into a life of crime and imprisonment.
It’s a vicious cycle, but one I’m determined to break.
Rebooted helps these vulnerable children by keeping them engaged in education, providing them with specially prepared, recycled laptops to enable access to educational content. Those familiar with Coracle’s work may recognise similarities in how we support adults in prison.
Education and skills are the most effective ways to reduce offending, but it’s a difficult journey for everyone involved—one could even call it a marathon.
So, I’m lacing up my running shoes and preparing for the hard miles ahead—both in April and in the years to come with Rebooted.
If you’d like to join me on these journeys, you can support us by donating whatever amount you’re able to afford.
Thank you for your support.
