We are Oliver Catt, Aisling Lacey, Miles Anderson and Ciarán Aitken - a group of friends all working for the incredible bakery - Twelve Triangles.
Twelve Triangles has 8 beautiful shops, 7 dotted around Edinburgh city and one in the southern town of Melrose. We are taking on a monumental task of running to each of these shops, covering an epic distance of 90km.
We are running for the JMA trust which was founded in memory of a man called John Maurice Aitken, who sadly passed away from cancer in 2014.
We hold the JMA close to our hearts, especially Ciarán who was John's brother and is a JMA trustee. We hope that this challenge can act as the largest fundraiser for the JMA this year.
Since it's inception, the JMA has dedicated itself to supporting individuals and organisations in hardship. This covers a broad spectrum of causes including emergency funding for social work departments, mental illness, homelessness, clothing & food banks, the Beatson Cancer Charity, and sports for disabled youths.
All proceeds will go directly to the JMA to support these causes, and any donations are warmly welcomed. Sharing this page would be greatly appreciated.
