Twinge Festival

We’re back! It’s our third year of the brilliant Twinge Festival. The event has gained huge success over the past couple of years through all the hard work put into compiling and showcasing a wide variety of amazing digital performers. Through everyone’s support, we have raised over £1000 pound in donations thanks to the organisers, streamers, and audiences involved. We couldn’t be more grateful, and we are excited to start adding more to this amount through the 2023 festival for our chosen charity: Samaritans.

Samaritans is a charity which aims to reduce the number of people who die by suicide. To achieve this, Samaritans aim to play a crucial role in:

1. Reducing the risk factors that make some people more likely to take their own lives.

2. Ensuring that people who are at increased risk of suicide are supported.

3. Making it less likely that people who do experience suicidal thoughts act on them.

4. Reducing the likelihood that people will develop suicidal thoughts.

Samaritans respond to a call for help every 10 seconds, and are there day and night. They are there for anyone who needs someone to listen free of judgement and pressure.
