WE'RE WALKING TO NEW YORK!

Starting from our favourite farm, on Sunday 28th December, the Twisted Ankles and Blister Sisters, a walking group comprised of volunteers from the Steelhouse Family will embark on our charity collective walk. From Hafod y Dafal farm we intend to walk the 3,400 miles to the (broadly) home of Twisted Sister (at least where we can find evidence of their earliest gigs with Dee in the band) New York, on celebration of our 2026 headliner and in aid of the fabulous Metal For Good.

The rules of engagement are:

- All walks must be official Twisted Ankles and Blister Sisters walks consisting of two or more households.

- All walks must be shared amongst the group and everyone invited through the group facebook page and the WhatsApp group.

- If you are human and you use your legs to propel you, your steps count!

We will be doing the majority of walks on the weekends, and we will be planning walks of all gradients and lengths They will be suitable for all levels, we will let you know what to expect ahead of time. Some will be coastal, a bit further afield, some close.

At the end of each walk, the amount of people that qualify will be used to multiply the distance of the walk and a running total will be kept and shared.

We have 26 weeks to hit our target, and we would like to raise a good amount of wodge for the excellent Metal For Good.
