Back in 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, I needed a project. I had just joined the Twitch platform and discovered the music category full of talented artists from around the world that could no longer gig in pubs and bars. I decided I wanted to do some good with all the time on my hands and organise an event that would be able to raise money for the Royal Manchester Children's hospital as well as helping grow the communities that each of the streamers had and giving them a chance to showcase their talents for new viewers.

Each year I have organised one full weekend of non-stop music to support the hospital through MFT. Last year we had 82 HOURS of live music, from 40 different streamers, based in 14 different countries and raised £8,789.16 from 254 different donators. taking our total amount from the last 4 years to £34,356.07

Since day one, I've had the backing of US Billboard charting Canadian artist Josh Taerk, and he has featured in 2 of the events so far and we are hoping to have Josh onboard again this year!

The 2025 event will be taking place 1AUG-4AUG and the funds raised will be going towards some Rockin' R gaming carts for the hospital's play team. These carts have safeguarded gaming consoles that are suited to a hospital’s hygiene requirements and can benefit up to 2190 children per year (per unit) by being used as a distraction, reward or pass time for patients.
