Yoga retreat online · 28 December 2025

St Mungo’s provides a bed and support to more than 3,150 people a night who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions.

Story

This grey and harsh weather is not fun for anyone, but especially not for the many sleeping rough who are facing freezing temperatures this winter. Homelessness and rough sleeping is on the rise. Let's help. Last Christmas we raised over £1000 for fab homelessness charity St Mungo's, so let's keep supporting their important work in getting people off the streets.

I'll be holding a special online yoga retreat on Sunday 28th December (3-5pm GMT) to raise funds for this great charity and the invaluable work they do. Please spread the word. A two-hour mini retreat is usually priced around £40, so please donate as much as you can afford for this brilliant cause.

About St Mungo's...

St Mungo’s work tirelessly to help to support homeless people in London and other cities around the UK. Last year they supported almost 29,000 people. Their work means thousands of people have a bed, and somewhere safe and warm to stay. They also work to support people in rebuilding their lives and moving off the streets permanently.

'Deep Rest' - Twixmas Yin Retreat

Sunday 28th December, 3-5pm GMT

Where: Yogalates London Online (use code Yogalates72 for 72 hours free access here: https://yogalateslondon.gcph.tv). Works on desktop or as an app.

What you can expect:

During this event you'll be guided through a series of floor-based, gentle Yin Yoga poses, suitable for all levels and abilities. It's an ideal practice even for beginners, plus you don't need any yoga equipment to take part. Yin Yoga works in a similar way to acupressure, helping to release restrictions in the deeper connective tissues, improving circulation and energy flow through the body. Through this long, slow, deep yoga practice we’ll create space and greater freedom of movement in mind and body, holding poses for a time in stillness. We’ll conclude with a restful guided Yoga Nidra meditation.
