80 Hours on the Streets — Because This Is Reality
We’re sleeping on the streets so we can see life through their eyes — because comfort hides the truth, and this is the only way to understand what they go through. For 80 hours, the pavement will be our bed. The cold will bite. The noise won’t stop. Sleep will be broken. Fear will be real. And when it ends for us, we get to go home — they don’t.
This is daily life for people experiencing homelessness in Manchester. We’re doing an 80-hour sleep out on the streets of Manchester to raise money for "Two Brews" Homeless Charity, with nothing but the clothes on our back and a sleeping bag, no money, just our phone to keep you all posted on how it's going.
"Two Brews" are out there every single night — 7 nights a week, 365 days a year. No excuses. No days off. They feed people, provide hot drinks, clothing, sleeping bags, and essentials that mean the difference between coping and not making it through the night. They also offer support, guidance, and a way forward when hope feels out of reach.
This isn’t about a challenge. This isn’t about sympathy. This is about survival. It's about seeing it through their eyes.
Your donation helps:
- Put hot food into cold hands
- Keep people alive through the night
- Support people rebuilding their lives
- Keep "Two Brews" on the streets doing what others won’t
If this makes you uncomfortable, it should. If you can help, please do. Donate. Share. Speak up.
Because no one should be invisible. No one should be sleeping on concrete.
Thank you for your support as we embark on this journey starting January 15th, 2026 with a target of £1,000 to make a real difference.
