For Tom, the pints have gone and the trainers are on, as he attempts to run the iconic sights and sounds of The London Marathon on Sunday 26th April.
Mickey Mernagh is walking the Dorset Coast.
Mick has teamed up with Damo, Matt & Sean to attempt The Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge – walking 100KM in 24 Hours – on the weekend of 16th & 17th May.
All the boys will be giving it everything for their chosen charity – Winston’s Wish.
Winston’s Wish is a charity that offers free, accessible online grief support to children and young people (aged 25 and under) across the UK, who are bereaved or facing the death of someone important.
National data suggests that nearly 1 million, under 25 year-olds in the UK, will have experienced the death of a parent, brother or sister.
Access to expert bereavement support with counselling sessions and online workshops, where people can learn about grief, ask questions and know they are not alone, are all hugely important for bereaved young people.
