I’m raising money for Street Assist Edinburgh, a charity I’ve volunteered for since Spring 2023. Since changing jobs last year, I’ve been unable to donate my time and volunteer as much as I used to and so I still try and support this amazing charity whenever I can. And that’s part of the reason I decided to fundraise for Street Assist.

Another reason is after seeing first hand the effort all the volunteers put in to their work and also seeing first hand and being involved with jobs that are dealt with brilliantly, using advanced equipment and more - which wouldn’t be made possible if people didn’t continue to support and donate to Street Assist.

Street Assist operates every Friday and Saturday from 22.00 to 04.00 providing a non-judgmental welfare/first aid service to help people who have become vulnerable during the busy Night-Time Economy hours. We aim to support our emergency services and reduce the number of people presenting at Accident and Emergency (A&E) unnecessarily for intoxication and minor injuries.
