Almost 1 million people in the UK are living with Dementia, it is a devastating disease that one in three people born today will develop.

My Grandma was diagnosed with mixed dementia: Alzheimer's Disease and Vascular Dementia, and she was, and remains, one of the most positive, good humoured and kindest person I’ve known. Since my grandad passed away, her condition has deteriorated rapidly.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
