Story

Hello! My name’s Tyler Holland - I’m currently an ELEMENTAL Artist at The Watermill Theatre, specialising as a director. This September I’m running the Swindon Half Marathon to raise money for The Fluency Trust. Last year I was assistant director for the play The King’s Speech - a story that follows George VI’s ascension to kingship with a stammer. For this production we teamed up with The Fluency Trust - a brilliant charity that brings together young people aged 10-17 with a stammer (or stutter) to take part in a combination of intensive speech therapy and outdoor pursuits to develop confidence and manage their stammer.

As someone who has had a stammer all my life it has been an incredible opportunity to work alongside this charity and understand how vital their work is for those in their formative years. The charity is one of a kind and unique in their approaches and initiatives. Now they need your help to support this programme.

Donating to the cause, you will be helping to keep this vital work going - continuing to fund hugely beneficial and exciting outdoor excursions and support the brilliant speech therapists who make these programmes possible.
