I am pleased to say that I will be running in the great north run on September 7th for breast cancer now, as many of you will know, in 2019 when i was 12 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was a really scary time for me and us as a family. 3 years later my nanna was also diagnosed with the same cancer. It’s only in the last two years I’ve realised how lucky me and my sisters are to still have our mum. I’m running this half a marathon to raise vital funds for research to hopefully one day combat this awful disease. This race is for my mum and my sisters.

Many family’s aren’t lucky and have lost plenty to this horrible disease. 1 in 7 people will have breast cancer in there lifetime. The research they do is amazing and has helped many families but there is more to be done. Through donating you can help other people by getting research done to beat breast cancer.
