As a family, like many others in Tywyn, we are deeply grateful for the love, care, and attention to detail shown by our local nursing teams, which allows loved ones to be cared for at home with dignity and compassion.

On this occasion, we will be forever thankful to the Tuag Adref carers, district nurses, and the palliative care team for the kindness, care, and support they gave to our mum, Margaret, and to us as a family. Their dedication allowed Mum to pass away peacefully at home on 4 January 2026. In our darkest days, they were our guiding lights, and for that we are truly grateful.

Family and friends meant everything to Mum, so what better way to celebrate her life than by raising money for the people who cared for her and supported those she loved most, through the North Wales NHS Charity, Awyr Las (Blue Sky).

The money raised will help support our Tywyn NHS community nursing teams by funding those extra touches, both big and small, that go above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide. With their local knowledge and understanding of the community’s needs, these teams are best placed to ensure the funding makes a real difference to patients and families when they need it most.
