One Vision works with 51 community group members to better the lives of people living in Hertfordshire, especially the young. Our Vision is of a community where people come together in Hertfordshire to support the vulnerable, promote equality and address injustice. Our Mission is to bring people together to develop services and initiatives in Hertfordshire to address community cohesion, food poverty, mental health, and youth needs, regardless of cultural background or religious affiliation. We want to improve people's lives by meeting their physical, social, emotional, and mental health needs. We identify needs in the community and develop services and initiatives to improve people's lives. Our objectives are: • To bring people and organisations together to improve community cohesion and build community capacity • To improve the physical and mental health and social and emotional well-being of people in our community • To provide practical support to vulnerable individuals and families affected by food poverty and/or social deprivation • To improve the ability of young people to participate in and shape their community Our Values are: • We are inclusive: we respect all people, value diversity, and are committed to equality. • We collaborate: we are committed to a culture of teamwork and collaboration. We work with dozens of community groups, charities, and faith groups

My name is Udhayarani, proud to be from Birmingham and of Tamil Sri Lankan heritage. I aspire to make a positive difference in my community. Advocating the empowerment of women and girls and striving to raise and garner support for diabetes awareness.

In a world where so much is going on, there's one big health issue affecting millions: diabetes.

It doesn't matter who you are – diabetes can affect anyone.

But there's hope, by supporting One Vision, you will help us to reach out to communities, deliver life skills, so people can take charge of their health.
