Team Devon fundraise to buy pickups, vans, ambulances. We drive them (at the drivers' expense) to Poland for onward delivery to Ukraine. Our next convoy of 5 departs early March. IT WAS FUNDED BY YOUR DONATIONS. THANK YOU!
Meanwhile, Putin's war aims remain the same and Russia's missiles, bombs and exploding drones rain down on Ukraine every day. They kill and maim scores of Ukrainians -- civilians in cities, towns and villages as well as soldiers on the front lines.
Our convoys are packed with aid and thanks to our Polish and Ukrainian friends they get delivered to medical teams, rescue organisations and rehabilitation centres in Ukraine.
Since March 2023 we have driven 73 vehicles to Poland or Ukraine. Most were purchased locally with funds raised through this page or its predecessors -- the rest were donated.
Ukrainian Action UK is an entirely volunteer-run charity. No-one is paid a salary. All funds raised go to purchasing vehicles - or insurance, ferry crossings or winter tyres for the convoys. A proportion of the funds are kept at any one time for future purchases of vehicles. We plan two convoys in early March. Please help us to carry on supporting the long-suffering Ukrainians. We would also welcome help in sourcing pick-up trucks and generators
