Story

The CRO (Cave Rescue Organisation) is the primary cave and mountain rescue service for North Yorkshire. The CRO is a charity that runs solely from donations and performs rescues for around 100 incidents annually. Recently the CRO were involved with a rescue of one of our own and to show our gratitude we will be conducting a fundraiser to return the favour and help with their amazing work in the future. To do this we are conducting a SUITED (wearing caver gear - oversuits and helmets) fun run in Ashton court park on the 17th of February in conjunction with Ashton court park run institution. The run will be a conservative 5k and donations will sent directly from this JustGiving page to the CRO. We will run in the full caving gear from the stores and we will arrive there in the morning to pick it up, shuttle trips to and from the park will be organised. Trainers are recommended for comfort as boots will probably be an absolute pain! Runners are invited to sign up to the park run via https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/.
