Story
Hello everyone!
From 20th – 22nd March, UCL Boat Club will once again embark on a 48-hour rowathon in the heart of Covent Garden. For two full days and nights, our rowers will keep the ergos spinning to raise money for two important causes, with funds split between Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and the club itself.
Great Ormond Street Hospital does extraordinary work providing life-changing care for seriously ill children and their families. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support the vital treatment, research, and specialist care that makes such a difference to young patients.
UCLBC’s portion of the funds will help us invest in essential equipment for our athletes. This includes riggers for some new pairs boats, generously donated by Bentham Boat Club, and new shoes for our novice boats, helping the next generation of rowers get out on the water.
As usual, we will be located just outside Jubilee Hall Gym, so if you’re in the area, please do come and say hello! Your support, whether in the form of donations or encouragement, means a huge amount to all of us taking part. Thank you so much for helping us make a difference.
