Snowdon At Night Challenge · 20 July 2024 to 21 July 2024 ·

We’re the official charity of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) supporting patients, staff and research above and beyond what the NHS can provide. Together we can do more!

Story

Women's Health as a Division has been well supported over the years by UCLH Charity - and the time has come for some of the team to say thank you and raise funds for the Charity by climbing Mount Snowdon at night! Yes that's right, at night. If all goes to plan, we get to the summit in time to watch the sunrise - and then we have the pleasure of walking all the way back down again. Climbing Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, is no small feat. But with your support, every step we take will bring us closer to improving Women's Health and providing essential services to staff and patients.

We will be hiking for around 8 hours, at extreme altitude (extreme may be exaggerating slightly) and mostly by torchlight.

The pioneering team is made up of Amy Mepham, Rebecca Laws, Lyndsey Smith, Charlotte Slack, Kate Evans, Kasia Maksym, Joan Ezukwo, Christine Haron and Lisa Hyashi!

This inspiring journey is more then just a physical test; its a heartfelt mission to support The UCLH Charity and all the hard work they do! We are asking for sponsorship to spur us on with this challenge and raise funds for this amazing charity.
